The Danish Quick Guide empowers digital entrepreneurs
to avoid 7 huge mistakes that can become expensive and embarrassing experiences…
Today’s news post is a bit behind schedule since I posted it on social media a few weeks back. But there are so many things to deal with when you are an entrepreneur… right?! But hey, I also want to let you in on this not-so-secret secret. If you are not following me on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn, I post almost daily during work days.
The Danish quick guide I recently published as a welcome gift to new members of my newsletter list (the Danish one) empowers digital entrepreneurs like you who want to protect their businesses, assets, and products from copycats. I expect to open the English newsletter soon, but I can’t make exact promises.
As you may know, I am still recovering from my sick leave (COVID-19 hit hard in this home, unfortunately). Usually, I would not share such personal matters, but I want you to know I have not forgotten about you, dear English-speaking follower. I have to build things up all over again 😎 (And it is going well—thanks for asking!).
Back to you
Can you imagine your reaction when a greedy competitor copies you?!
I’ve been there, like many others. And I have witnessed it firsthand through my long career in patents and IP. Imagine this scenario… You have been copied. You’re furious… You won’t have it. I’m so behind you 100%. Nobody should put up with copying! You want to do something! Soooo!
👩🏼💻 You write a long and angry email threatening legal action against the person you call a cheater.
😨 And then: The copycat does not react and ignores you. What now.
🤯 Or: They publish your email with a parody about your ridiculousness.
😱 Or: They answer again with a ‘f*** finger’ right back at ya, then continue their scam.
Of course, you can also be lucky to convince the copyist to click their heels and do as you say, pay the bill, and immediately have peace of mind.
But, unfortunately, it is far from always how things work out. Wish it did, though! It is SO important that you don’t wait too long to take an interest in laws and rights – and wait until a copy attack hits you. It’s like insurance. They must be established before the house burns down to provide the appropriate protection!
After a long break, it is finally back
But you know what?!
You are in luck – at least if you can read Danish.
You can finally get your hands on my updated quick guide again, so you can avoid the 7 biggest failures that entrepreneurs made before you when they were copied.
Once you are copied, you are in the danger zone of doing something they did, without thinking things through, maybe because you don’t know what rights are and are not.
