Booking Rules for idearlify® SPARRING & EVENTS
Booking rules
Read them before you book 1:1 sparring or events!
Please read the booking rules thoroughly before you book anything on this platform.
You must understand which rules apply, e.g., deadlines for cancellation, rescheduling, transfer access to online course material, and payment refunds, depending on which type of booking you invest in.
Please go to the product section that applies to the product you are considering investing in.
Please note that most bookings include a non-refundable booking fee. However, this fee will be explicitly highlighted during checkout for your express confirmation and acceptance.

Booking rules for
Single 1:1 sparring sessions
1:1 sparring sessions booked individually
NOTE: Sparring sessions are personal and can not be transferred to other users. Every purchase of a 1:1 Sparring session comprises a non-refundable fee of 500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes).
Cancellation: Act Early, Save More
Cancel at least 48 hours before your session is planned to secure a partial refund. While the booking fee isn’t refundable, the rest of your payment is protected and will be refunded if you cancel before this deadline.
I cannot refund your payment if you cancel less than 48 hours before the planned session. But here is a hot tip: If you are more than 24 hours ahead of the original date, check if rescheduling is still available – it may be more attractive than losing your sparring session.
Example: You booked a session for 1.500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes). Cancel on time (48 hours before the original booking date), and you’ll be back with 1.000,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes) in your wallet after deducting the non-refundable fee, which is 500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes) in this example.

Rescheduling: Last-Minute Flexibility
Is there a clash in your calendar? No sweat—you can reschedule fee-free 24 hours before your session.
If you missed that window, please email me at support@patentsmarter.com, and I’ll try to help you out so you don’t lose your sparring session. However, this is not always possible, and you risk losing your investment in the session if you don’t reschedule in time.
Example: Need a new time for your 1.500,- DKK (including VAT and local taxes) session? Change it a day ahead with zero extra charges. If you’re late, you might forfeit the fee, but reach out, and we’ll explore options. If you reschedule later than the 24-hour deadline, you will not be refunded, and the payment will be lost.
Preparation for Success: Your Homework Matters
Please submit your session prep form 48 hours before we meet so we’re both on top of our game when we meet. I’ll do my best to prepare well if you submit it later, but I may be unable to fit it in with such short notice.
Unless you instruct me otherwise, the information you share in preparation and during the session stays confidential and will be deleted as soon as the session ends.
Booking rules for
sparring bundles
1:1 sparring sessions booked in bundles of 5, 10 or more session
(do not include individually tailored sparring packages)
You get an attractive discount for investing in five, then maybe even more sparring sessions at once. To balance this, there is a little less flexibility.
Please read the following thoroughly before you accept the purchase of your sparring bundle.
Non-refundable: Your discounted sparring bundle is not refundable
NOTE: You can not refund your sparring bundle or transfer the sparring sessions to others.
Your sparring bundle belongs to you, and you accepted these terms when you approved the payment.
Validity: Your sparring bundle is valid for 12 months – use it before it expires
The sparring bundle is valid for 12 months. You are responsible for ensuring your bookings are performed, and sparring sessions are held within that time frame. After 12 months, the sparring sessions expire, and unused sparring sessions will be lost.
Cancellation: You can not cancel 1:1 sessions booked via a bundle offer
The investment in a sparring bundle is not refundable. Therefore, you can not cancel the sparring sessions booked through a sparring bundle.
However, you can reschedule it—but remember to find a new time for the moved sparring session within 12 months of your purchase date.
Rescheduling: Last-Minute Flexibility within the 12 months
You don’t have to lose the sparring session if you can’t be there when you originally booked a session. Reschedule instead. Do it fee-free 24 hours before your session, and find a new time slot within the 12 months of your bundle’s validity period.
If you miss that window? E-mail me at support@patentsmarter.com, and I may be able to work out a plan. But please note that I am not always able to, and in that case, you may lose the sparring session due to the late rescheduling request.

Customized sparring packages
Individually tailored to your needs, combining sparring sessions and online course material.
NOTE: Customized sparring packages are personal and can not be transferred to others, either whole or in part.
They are offered to you after we agree to the structure, topics, price, and included material and sessions.
CUSTOMIZED SPARRING PACKAGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
Non-refundable after acceptance and payment of the offer
When you invest in a customized sparring package, you cannot refund them, as they have been prepared specifically for you.
You can request additions or adjustments or reject the offer before investing in it; however, once you approve, the package is complete and non-refundable.
Validity: Your sparring sessions within the customized sparring package is 12 months – use it before it expires
Unless we agree to something else in writing, the individually bookable sparring sessions within the customized sparring package are valid for 12 months from the date of your purchase.
You are responsible for ensuring your bookings are performed, and sparring sessions are held within that time frame.
After 12 months , the sparring sessions expire, and unused sparring sessions will be lost.
Cancellation: You can not cancel 1:1 sessions booked via a customized sparring package offer
The investment in a customized sparring package offer is not refundable.
Therefore, you can not cancel the sparring sessions booked through a sparring bundle.
However, you can reschedule it—but remember to find a new time for the moved sparring session within 12 months of your purchase date.
Access to Online Course material provided in these packages
Usually, the course access is 2 years for online course material provided with sparring sessions in packages like these.
However, please check my offer, which may specify what we agreed to in your case.

Booking rules for
Events
Events include workshops, events, webinars, seminars, held online or offline.
(usually only available a few times per year - therefore with a limited booking capacity)
Events are exclusive and have limited seats. Therefore, cancellation rules are stricter for events than sparring sessions because your reservation prevents other interested learners from booking in time.
NOTE: All event bookings are comprised of a non-refundable booking fee specified during checkout.
Limited Seats, Unlimited Potential
If you booked a seat at an event and your plans change, let me know as soon as possible and no later than five (5) days before the event. I will then refund your payment, subtracting the specified non-refundable booking fee.
If you cancel your attendance at the event later than five (5) days before the event date, I can not refund your payment.
Too late to cancel? Someone else can take over – transfer your reservation
You are welcome to transfer your seat to someone else, but do this before the event date and time. I must approve the transfer, and if I have not confirmed it at least 2 hours before the event date and time, the transfer has failed.
Please inform me about your desire to transfer your seat to someone else as soon as you know about the change so I can register the new user.
A successful transfer will not invoke any refund from me to you, and the new user will not be charged by me either; however, the new user will be bound by the same terms and conditions you accepted when you purchased the event.
Example 1: Have you registered for an inspiring workshop and invested 2.000,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes)?
If you must cancel, do it five (5) days prior, and you’ll get back 1.500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes)—the booking fee is retained to keep the event exclusive and is set to 500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes) in this example.
If you do it later than the deadline, you will not be refunded; however, you can still transfer your event reservation to someone else.
Example 2: You can’t cancel the workshop mentioned above in time and decide to transfer the event seat to a colleague. You must mail me at support@patentsmarter.com, copy your colleague, and send it ASAP.
If possible, please do so two or three days before the event and inform me that you wish to transfer the event seat to this colleague.
As soon as I confirm the transfer, your colleague will receive the booking information and details for attending the event.
You will also receive a confirmation that your access has been withdrawn.
If I have not confirmed the transfer, the transfer is not completed, and your colleague can not participate instead of you.
Booking rules for
combinations: Events + online courses
Combining online courses with workshops or group events
NOTE: Combination products are personal and exist in one combination. They can not be transferred to other users, and special refund rules apply.
Non-refundable course access and event booking fee
When you invest in a combination of a workshop and online course, you’re looking at a payment of three components:
- A non-refundable event booking fee is specified during checkout.
- A refundable fee for the event reservation.
- Your online course access (non-refundable, but with lasting benefits).
Access to Online Course material provided in combination products
Usually, the course access is 2 years for online course material provided in combination products like this.
However, please check the product description of your specific product to see if access to this specific product that you are about to invest in , or have invested in, has been set to a longer or shorter period.
Cancellation: Can’t attend the workshop as initially planned?
Cancel at least five (5) days in advance to receive a refund of the event reservation (not the non-refundable booking and course access fee). If you cancel after this deadline, I can not refund any part of your payment for the combination product.
This does not mean that all is lost: You can email me before the event date and ask for a rain check on another event date; I will do my best to secure a spot on a different date for the same event without extra charges.
However, suppose I can’t find another spot because, e.g., there are too many bookings or no future events of this type available. In that case, you will be refunded for the event reservation according to the above rules.
Your course access remains untouched—learn at your pace until the license’s agreed-upon duration (stated on the sales page) expires.
Example: You secured a combo deal for 3.000,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes)
The deal includes:
- A workshop portion: 1.000,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes), including a 500,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes) non-refundable booking fee, and
- Online course access is for a duration specified in the product description, adding 2.000,-DKK (including VAT and local taxes) for the online course access.
If unexpected changes arise in your plans and you cancel at least five (5) days in advance, you’re reimbursed for the workshop reservation but not the 500 DKK booking fee. For this example, I will thus transfer 500 DKK back to you. You will keep access to the online course until the access expires.
Remember:
You should always check your online course expiration on the sales page, and you can check the expiration date on the course homepage.
